Cavarzere is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Venice in the Italian region Veneto, located about 35 km southwest of Venice. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 15,375 and an area of 140.4 km².[1]
The municipality of Cavarzere contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Rottanova, San Pietro, Valcerere-Dolfina, Villaggio Busonera, Boscochiaro, and Grignella.
Cavarzere borders the following municipalities: Adria, Agna, Anguillara Veneta, Chioggia, Cona, Loreo, Pettorazza Grimani, San Martino di Venezze.
