[edit] Merge

29 Oct 2007: There have been several attempts to combine (merge) the articles for Cathedral Catholic High School and the University of San Diego High School. These articles should not be merged, because although they are the same school, they each tell their own history and story.

[edit] Anonymous Student Opinion

Wikipedia is not a rating or classification site for different schools or any other organization. It's supposed to be an unbiased encyclopedic description. Anyone's opinions about the subject would better be placed on some other website, like maybe www.greatschools.net. See WP:NOT for further information. --Eric Bekins 22:16, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

Someone tried to delete the previous comment. The talk page doesn't need to be altered unless there is some very offensive language, and even then it's probably questionable. This isn't as tightly edited as the main article. So if you have something to say, or disagree with a previous comment, just say so! --Eric Bekins 21:33, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Expressed "ownership" and self promotional advertising format

This article is written much more like an self advertisment than an encyclopedia article. I was tempted to add the warning tag but refrained from doing so at this time. I did remove some of the more serious issues of the use of "Our school"; "We" when referring to the school. See WP:NPOV amd Wikipedia:Manual of Style Dbiel (Talk) 21:11, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

Actually my changes got lost in an edit conflict with User:AngelOfSadness which actually deleted the entire section that I had edited listing the following edit summary: (removed section as it was completely unsourced and was written without a NPOV) I do have to support his deletion of the section but felt that I would try a less radical approach first. [edit] policy

can someone mention the policy that only a girl and a boy can go to prom together and if you want to go with the same sex you need to sign a slip that says you are gay that goes on your official record!!!

this is definatly a great school with a beautiful campus and terrific athletics. My favorite of all the schools I have been to. i feel this school will definatly prepare me for colledge. If you are thinking about sending your child here, i definately would. That is the right decision!! go CCHS!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.88.24.89 (talk) 06:46, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Tone / Advertising

This article still suffers in most paragraphs from writing that seems biased and often seems like advertising or promotional material to promote the school. Someone needs to do some rewriting to improve it. AliveFreeHappy (talk) 07:19, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

I've attempted to do some of this, and also particularly rewrote the sports section to be less time-specific. 68.6.178.220 (talk) 19:16, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
