[edit] Re: 66.192.94.185 block

I gave the above-mentioned IP address three notices, all of which were ignored. It's true that the site has a lot of content and may be useful as a source for information, but I'm unconvinced as to whether it should be linked to from so many articles, en masse (see our external linking guideline). You're free to ask for a third opinion at the village pump or admin noticeboard, if you like. Luna Santin 21:23, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Replacementdocs

A tag has been placed on Replacementdocs, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD a7.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Realkyhick (Talk to me) 20:59, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

There aren't enough sources from independent, reliable sources listed. Most of your references are from the site itself, which is not independent. If you think you can come up with some more fairly quickly, I'll hold off on the speedy-delete. By the way, WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS is not a valid reason for allowing a similar article to stay. If you think some of these other articles shouldn't be here, you are strongly encouraged to mark them for deletion. Realkyhick (Talk to me) 21:35, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
The web-ring source is a bit borderline, but probably would do. If the site is as popular with gamers as you assert, it would seem there would be an article in a magazine or webzine.
Did a little more searching on my own since the previous message and turned these up:
Heck, I think I may pull this out of speedy just with these. I'll keep looking for more. Realkyhick (Talk to me) 21:51, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
