Talk:Castlevania: Curse of Darkness
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Trivia? Maybe it should be noted that you can receive a rare item if you have a completion save for Castlevania: Lament of Innocence stored on the same memory card being used for Curse of Darkness. Just my thought CharlieP216 22:46, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
Well, I like your thought. If you want to mention it, go ahead and do that. Also, is Castlevania: Curse of Darkness inappropriate (other than blood and violence) in any way? Because I really want to buy it, and I'm not 17. I'm younger. Could someone PLEASE answer. I know it wouldn't help this site in any ways, and these aren't forums, but I really have my eyes glued to that game...

I have a completion save but received not "rare item" also it is appropriate nothing majorly disturbing as there are in some games.
Well, let's put it this way. Out of these three games, which is the most appropriate? Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Castlevania: Curse of Darkness, or Castlevania: Lament of Innocence?
Well, if you're still interested, and you still check this. I'd say in order from most to least SotN, CoD, LoI. With a little interchangability between SotN and CoD. The least appropriate parts of SotN are Beelzebub (boss monster, giant rotting corpse), Granfaloon (boss, giant sphere of corpses, also appears as "Legion" in CoD and many other Castlevania games), and Bloody Zombie (a normal, and weak, enemy whose spine breaks and spews out blood, along with a scream, when you kill him.) That, and some semi-nude statues (but you actually have to be looking real hard to notice). I put CoD second because (well, for one SotN is one of my favorite games) it's 3-d, and again, it features Legion/Granfaloon. As for LoI, it's a bit darker... imo; also I thought the graphics were more realistic. In addition to that, the secret boss was one of the goriest monsters I've seen in a video game. Altogether, nothing really that'd give you nightmares, unless your parents are the anti-video-game type (actually, my mother always said "video games are the root of all evil" or something like that, and I was still playing games like this when I was 12 or younger.)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Curse of Darkness.PNG
Image:Curse of Darkness.PNG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:23, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Rare Item for LoI Save and Comment
For the "rare item" it is actually a moai statue you can find near where you start (head away from the castle to find it). and if anyone can add more character information please add it. castlevaniamaster1 11:32, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
