Casino Pier is an amusement park situated on a pier (Amusement Pier), in Seaside Heights, New Jersey, USA. The pier extends approximately 300 feet (100 meters) into the Atlantic Ocean, from the narrow strip of the Barnegat Peninsula (approx. 6 blocks) in which Seaside Heights exists.
The pier itself comprises several games of chance, such as spinning wheels, but more often, the games involve a rudimentary amount of skill, for example, a ring toss, basketball shoot, etc. Also on the pier are numerous rides, including an antique carousel, thrill rides, and four roller coasters. Other attractions include small kiddie rides, a rooftop golf course, log flume, Moby-Dick, bumper cars, and a Skyscraper, to name but a few.
Casino Pier also has a water park across the street called Breakwater Beach that was originally Water Works. Breakwater Beach was remodeled in 2003. Breakwater Beach incorporates numerous water slides with a heavy focus on families. Breakwater Beach is undergoing three phases of reconstruction. The first two are complete. During the second phase a Go-Karts track was added on the corner of Ocean Terrace and Grant Ave.
