[edit] Age and order built

I’m going to back off my earlier assertion that the Cardston Temple was the second temple built outside the U.S. (because it isn't true). Although the first four temples built in Utah and the temple in Hawaii were built outside then-constituted U.S. states, they were built in U.S. territories that later became states. I don’t know if that means they were built outside of the U.S. or not. To avoid confusion, I’ve changed this article to read that it is “the oldest LDS temple outside the United States,” which remains true no matter what the geopolitical status of the other temples may have been.
