| Non-free / fair use media rationale for Cardiff Arms Park | |
|---|---|
| Description |
Photo of the original Cardiff Arms Park showing the 2 stadiums (Cardiff Rugby Ground and the now demolished National Stadium). |
| Source |
[3]. westwales.co.uk believe the image to be in the public domain. |
| Article | |
| Portion used |
The image is used as the primary means of visual identification of the article topic. |
| Low resolution? |
It is a low resolution image, and thus not suitable for production of counterfeit goods. |
| Purpose of use |
The image shows that the Cardiff Rugby Ground and National Stadium were physically attached and both in the same (west-east) alignment. The image is not used in such a way that a reader would be confused into believing that the article is written or authorized by the owner. Original photographer I R Andrews |
| Replaceable? |
It is not replaceable with an uncopyrighted or freely copyrighted image of comparable educational value, as no aerial view of the Cardiff Arms Park exists that is not copyrighted. It is important to show the proximity of the 2 stadiums (National Stadium and the Cardiff Rugby Ground) It is no longer possible to have an uncopyrighted image as the National Stadium is now demolished. |
Note that this does not claim fair use in articles other than Cardiff Arms Park. If you wish to use this image in another article, please add a new fair use rationale below.
