Carolina Bermudez (born May 18, 1978) is a radio personality on the "Elvis Duran and the Morning Zoo" radio morning show in New York on WHTZ (Z100), which is also simulcast in Miami on Y100 (WHYI-FM) and in Northern New Jersey/Northeastern Pennsylvania on Max 106.3 (WHCY).
Bermudez joined Elvis Duran and Morning Zoo on January 17, 2005 at 6 a.m. Bermudez came to Z100 from Y100 in Miami, where she had been a part of the "Kenny & Footy Morning Show." Ironically, this is the Miami morning show that Elvis Duran and the Morning Zoo would later replace in May of 2006.
Originally from Ohio, Bermudez graduated from Arizona State University with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism and moved to Los Angeles after college, where she studied acting. A freelance job for the Latin Billboard Awards brought her to Miami, where she worked at WHYI.
At the 2007 Z100 Jingle Ball, Bermudez kissed lead singer of the band The Jonas Brothers, Joe Jonas on the cheek. Because of this, a lot of controversy erupted with the Jonas Brothers' young fans, but Carolina called Joe on the air on March 19th, 2008, and "cleared the air". Carolina is also Senior editor at In Touch Weekly. She appears frequently on Showbiz Tonight as a contributing editor.
