Captain Jim (Na'a) was a leader of the Yosemite-Mono Lake Paiutes who with his family roamed the Upper Tuolumne River and Hetch Hetchy Valley before it was dammed up. His Paiute name means father.

His children were some of the most prolific basket makers in and around Yosemite and Mono Lake.
