Caprice Crane

Caprice Crane is an American writer, novelist, music supervisor, screenwriter, television crewperson and producer.
She was born in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of radio announcer/TV interviewer Les Crane and actress Tina Louise. She graduated New York University (NYU) Film School and was hired by MTV to write, produce and music supervise game shows, sports shows, music specials and the MTV Video Music Awards.
She has two novels, Stupid & Contagious (2006), the title of which is taken from the lyrics of the Nirvana song, "Smells Like Teen Spirit," and Forget About It (2007), which is being made into a major motion picture starring Scarlett Johansson.
