[edit] Importance rating
I'm changing the rating to High, since this is considered a pioneering work in the African American literary tradition, and certainly as important as a work like Jonathan Livingston Seagull and more important than The Body in the Library! Aristophanes68 (talk) 14:18, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
- update: I've added a list of recent critical studies, if anyone wants to use them to provide more details on the book's importance. Aristophanes68 (talk) 15:06, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
