Cantharidus capillaceus coruscans is a subspecies of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Trochidae, the top snails.

This subspecies is endemic to Australia's Macquarie Island, south of New Zealand.
[edit] Shell description
The shell is similar in sculpture and coloration to Cantharidus capillaceus capillaceus but is more squat, with a low, broadly conical spire, and a large, very broad body whorl.
The shell height is up to 23 mm, and the width is up to 21.5 mm.
