For help with your userpage, try the Wikipedia Deisng Centre. The guide has some help regarding code and formatting .etc. – and most users don’t mind you using pieces of code from their userpage (me included). Building a userpage is a slow process, but as you become more familiar with some of the code (and start altering it to suit you), your page will gradually build up. Ideally, a good userpage should:

Hold information about you on wikipedia

Low maintenance

Unique (to a certain extent)
