California's 5th State Assembly District is one of 80 districts in the California State Assembly. It is currently represented by Republican Roger Niello of Fair Oaks.

The district covers parts of Placer and Sacramento Counties, including the cities of Citrus Heights, Folsom, a small portion of Roseville, and part of Sacramento. CDPs in the district include Arden-Arcade (partly), Carmichael (partly), Fair Oaks, Foothill Farms, Granite Bay, North Highlands (partly), and Orangevale.
