Caldew School is a secondary school located in the village of Dalston, Cumbria, England. In the academic year of 2006/07, it had roughly 1000 pupils. Caldew School is a business and enterprise school and its target is to enable all pupils to learn to their full potential in a caring environment. Its emblem is a cockerel, the same as the village of Dalston, where it takes its motto from, 'Whilst I live, I crow'.
Ofsted once inspected Caldew School and deduced: "A warm, caring, friendly and safe school".
Caldew currently holds a joint Sixth Form with Morton School which is located inside Carlisle.
