Byron Munyoro

Byron Munyoro is a Zimbabwe cyclist, In 2007 represented his country, Zimbabwe at the 2007 African Mountainbike Championships that were held in Windhoek, Namibia. He placed 13th in the Pro Elite Mens race at the championships. In doing so he greatly improved Zimbabwe’s chances of qualifying for the 2008 Olympic Games to be held in China.

Interesting fact : In 2007 Munyoro and the Zimbabwe Mountain Bike team created history when they became the very first Zimbabwe Mountain Bike team to race in an official UCI international race when they competed at the 2007 UCI African MTB Championship that was held in Windhoek Namibia. Zimbabwe had in previous seasons raced in the road cycling discipline but never at mountain biking.
