[edit] Autonomous Personal Rapid Transit

Time is moving fast : the 19th and 20th century are behind us, except in transportation. The technology for autonomous portal-to-portal individual rapid transit is here. There are groups working on it, but their views are flawed by the absence in them of the autonomous concept (no guideways, use existing streets and highways) and the absence of the essential portal-to-portal factor.

[edit] Line number

Why is this line called L1 rather than 12?? Georgia guy 01:07, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

Because it is officially considered a "light metro" line. The intent was even to demand a separate payment for riding this line. However, these plans were discarded before opening the line. --Achp ru 17:56, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Extension to Bitsevsky park

According to http://www.mosmetro.ru/pages/page_0.php?id_page=18 this has been postponed to 2010. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 85.140.238.93 (talk) 21:10, 10 December 2006 (UTC).
