I added this stub as Burton Ridge has a unique and interesting history. I run adairburtons.org and will post more information on the area soon. I will want to add historical information on the small towns in the area such as Purdy, Christeen, Fair View, Garland, Crossroads, Neatsville.N9urk 23:49, 4 March 2006 (UTC)

I changed Christeen to Christine. Christine was named in honor of Dr. Nell's daughter. I also added Vester. Vester was named in honor of Sylvester Burton, a merchant. Garland is sometimes spelled in this fashion, but is actually Garlin. Garlin also had it's own school years ago. Perhaps Ella should also be added? Jason
