[edit] Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button
located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 14:51, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Title Change
{{help me}}I have found a article with an incorrectly spelled that I'd like to change. How do I go about doing that? The article is Bricrui's Feast but should be Bricriu's Feast ('i' and 'u' have been transposed). Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Buirechain (talk • contribs)
- You use the move function at the top of the page to move the page to the correct title. Cheers, Into The Fray T/C 22:16, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, disregard that, because the redirect already existed under the correct spelling. It points to Briccriu, which is the more substantive article, so that's where I pointed Bricrui's Feast too. Cheers, Into The Fray T/C 22:19, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] High Kings
I'm not sure where that thing about Áed being "king of all Ireland" came from. I hope it wasn't me in a fit of absent-mindedness. In general I think the List of High Kings of Ireland follows Frank Byrne from Niall onwards. The template {{Kings of Ireland}} certainly does not; I tried to follow what Thomas Charles-Edwards says at various places in his discussion of the subject in Early Christian Ireland. Whether I succeeded is another matter. I've suggested splitting the list of kings into two; from the flood to Diarmait mac Cerbaill and from Niall to the Normans. The overlap is intentional. If you have any thoughts on this, please do leave a note at Talk:List of High Kings of Ireland. Nice work on the Brehon law stuff! Regards, Angus McLellan (Talk) 17:21, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Bretha Nemed Déidenach
Really impressed by the work you and your fellow editors did on Early Irish law. Was writing the above independently but was delighted to find I could link it to your work. Hope its okay. Fergananim (talk) 15:52, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for the votes of confidence. I hope to be working on it more sometime soon. Buirechain (talk) 01:38, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
