Bucerotinae are a subfamily of the hornbill family Bucerotidae. The subfamily contains all but two extant species of hornbills. There are 51 species spread over 8 genera

The subfamily is distributed widely throughout tropical Africa and Asia. They are typically large birds, and all can be readily identified by the huge, sickle-shaped bill.
