Brunello is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Varese in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 45 km northwest of Milan and about 6 km southwest of Varese. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,006 and an area of 1.6 km².[1]
The municipality of Brunello contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Collodri and Rosea.
Brunello borders the following municipalities: Azzate, Buguggiate, Castronno, Gazzada Schianno, Morazzone, Sumirago.
