[edit] Moves

If you want to contribute to the discussion on appropriate moves (due to your recent moves) then we are discussing it here. (Emperor (talk) 03:17, 3 April 2008 (UTC))

Thanks :) (Emperor (talk) 00:36, 4 April 2008 (UTC))
It'd also be a good idea to start the move discussion on the relevant talk pages so you can express your opinions on why the move seems a good idea. It also lets the regular editors know there is a move proposal on the table so they can contribute their opinions too. (Emperor (talk) 15:11, 4 April 2008 (UTC))

I'm sorry, could you explain to me the moves you've done for the Wiccan page? Did you delete the "Billly Kaplan" redirect? because that, obviously, had too many L's in it. Also, I don't understand the move to "Will Kaplan" as he's never referred to as "Will," only "Billy," "Wiccan," or (rarely) "William." When you do these moves, could you please add something explaining them on the talk page? I doubt I'm the only one who would like to hear your reasons.Luminum (talk) 02:14, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Batplane II

Do you mind if I put that heading to Batplane 1950 or second?Brian Boru is awesome (talk) 21:48, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

Here's my concern. Unlike all the other sections which had been using roman numerals, this one, by all appearances, seems to be a reference from within the comic itself. So if it's called "Batplane II" in the comic, then we should call it that in the article.
I'd appreciate any references you might be able to find concerning this. - jc37 13:56, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Requested moves

In looking these requests over, it seems that we need (once again) to decide what to do about the LSH and its several "reboots". We shouldn't decide these each separately. Would you start a discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Comics concerning this? - jc37 15:48, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Warning

Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow or move it unilaterally while discussion about it is underway, as you did to Wiccan (comics). We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. You have been previously informed that this is a controversial action. Please seek a consensus for the move on the article's talk page and refrain from unilaterally moving it again. Especially if you are going to continue to double move it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by J Greb (talkcontribs)

[edit] Jimmy Olsen

You continue to re-insert Jimmy Olsen without providing additional rationale. I was curious what was your reasoning? -66.109.248.114 (talk) 21:48, 24 April 2008 (UTC).

[edit] Warning, again.

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you move a page maliciously, as you did to Guardian (Marvel Comics), you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. You have been warned on article talk pages, at the project talk, and here: you are making contentious moves. With this article an editor explicitly warned you and reverted it. That mean you propose the move on the articles talk page not blank the warning and bull on a head.

For the record the previous warnings placed on your talk page are:

Please, refrain from moving any more character articles without engaging in a discussion on that article's talk page. - J Greb (talk) 23:12, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Wizard = Spectre??

You listed Spectre under the Wizard's aliases. The article doesn't reflect that. How can that be true? When/why/how/huh?? Doczilla STOMP! 03:55, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

Re: I believe my edits were good. You should get JSA All-Stars. That's where I got it from. Brian Boru is awesome (talk) 14:02, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
I don't need to get JSA All-Stars. You need to cite your sources. Doczilla STOMP! 00:23, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
Hold on. Are you talking about the one time the Wizard pretended to be the Spectre? That's not the kind of thing that gets listed in those boxes. Otherwise, we'd have to include one incredibly long list of aliases for everybody Batman ever disguised himself as. Doczilla STOMP! 00:32, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Article move ban

I've been requested by several editors to look over your contributions.

It's clear that there are indeed concerns about the several bold article moves you have made.

You have also received several warnings about this.

And I note that this has been something ongoing with you for some time, and has also been noted repeatedly at the WikiProject Comics talk page.

If administrators had the ability to merely block a user's ability to move pages I would do so. The situation warrants it.

However, since that is not an option, here is your final warning:

Based on all of the above (and I am sorry that it has come to this), you are restricted from moving any comics-related articles for the next 60 days. During this time, you are welcome to start discussions concerning moves on relevant talk pages, but regardless of the result of the discussion, you will not be moving articles. If you move any article during this content ban, you may be blocked by any administrator, starting with 24 hours, and increasing upon further violations of this content ban, and the 60 day duration of the ban will restart at the end of each block.

If, at the end of the 60 days you show that you are working with others towards concensus, making good use of talk pages, and appropriately doing all the things that I know, from past interaction with you, that you know how to do; the ban will be lifted. I, of course, welcome other admins' comments concerning this.

You should also be aware that other editors may be reverting your recent article moves. If you have concerns about that, please start an appropriate discussion on an appropriate talk page (as I know you know how).

I think you can be a good editor, and I hope you use this time constructively. - jc37 04:14, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Vavavoom, Kleinstocks, and Tutinax

If you have a good reason why these three pages shouldn't remain redirected, I'd like to hear them. Otherwise, I don't see the problem. In any event, WP:PROD isn't the place to bring it anymore, particularly when the prod is a month old. Nominate them at Redirects for Discussion instead. --UsaSatsui (talk) 03:32, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

Besides, a PROD can't be reinstated once removed. There's not really any good reason to delete these redirects anyway, since they're sitting there peacefully. BOZ (talk) 13:38, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Please comment on your reverts

I realise you are currently blocked, but your reverting on the article Key (comics) needs to be accompanied by discussion or at least some explanation. It's not at all helpful to just revert an editor who has tried to discuss it on the talk page. --Tombomp (talk) 10:04, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Two-fred

How exactly did Alfred use the alias Two-Face? If he was impersonating Two-Face, WP:Comics has long-standing precedent of not counting that. We'd have an ungodly long list of people Batman had impersonated. I don't know the story, but obviously some of us are skeptical about that alias's inclusion. Please help us understand.
