[edit] Merge and article title

As the town is mainly known as Brig, I'd go for the title Brig rather than Brig-Glis. However, as "Brig" is the title of the articles about a ship, the title should be Brig, Switzerland.

In the article Brig, Switzerland, I'd include the content about the municipality of "Brig-Glis" and the historic town of Brig. The article about the former municipality of Glis (if created) would remain separate. -- User:Docu

The municipality is now Brig-Glis. Brig is the name of the district. Please check a Swiss Encyclopedia on line or at least http://www.brig-glis.ch/ home page. Also check Wikipedia in German (or in French, Italian, all languages of Switzerland). If you want to have an article on the town, it should be named Brig-Glis, if on the district should be Brig. The town is generally known as "Brig", rather than "Brig-Glis". "Brig" is not primarily the name of the district, but the town. Thus, if the two are merged, the article should be named "Brig" rather than "Brig-Glis". In the municipality infobox, we would obviously keep the official name "Brig-Glis". -- User:Docu
