I don't think a separate page on the controversy is necessary or desirable.

There is no reason for a seperate entry on this to exist apart from the breast implant entry. In addition the portrayal of it is political & not representative of international scientific and medical reviewsDroliver 02:37, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

Does anyone onject to referring this to AFD? In the interim, the summaries of the world-wide reviews were pasted into it.Droliver 15:56, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

Well as there wasn't much interest in doing anything, I'll just try to update the literature as it trickles in. There have been some updates of several studies confirming previous findings. No major studies suggesting new issues have come to light since FDA approval in 2006. 4 year study data from the FDA "core" studies should be released later in 2007 to update some things.Droliver 04:02, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
