Brett Keisel (born September 19, 1978 in Provo, Utah) is an American Football player who starts at defensive end for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Bret hails from Greybull, Wyoming.

He has been with the Steelers for his entire four-year NFL career. He attended Brigham Young University. Brett was the Steelers’ final draft pick in 2002 and was one of the seven draft selections to make the final roster. He was placed on reserve/injured list for the entire 2003-2004 season following shoulder surgery. After the departure of Kimo von Oelhoffen via free agency for the New York Jets in March of 2006, Brett won the 1st team position at right defensive end and played in all 16 games. An option is also being considered for Brett to move to outside linebacker on a full-time or part-time basis for the 2007-2008 season. Brett has signed a new four year contract with the Steelers worth a reported 14 million dollars.
