Brett Hauer

Brett Hauer (b. July 11, 1971 in Richfield, Minnesota) is a professional ice hockey defenceman, currently playing for EHC Basel in the Swiss National League A. Hauer spent his amateur career with the University of Minnesota Duluth after a successful high school career, which saw him drafted in the fourth found of the 1989 NHL Entry Draft, 71st overall, by the Vancouver Canucks.
He has played for the Edmonton Oilers and Nashville Predators at the NHL level. He has also represented Team USA at the IIHF World Championships in 1995, 2003, 2004 and 2005.
