Regarding the small edit you made in good faith to Charles Darwin, it's been agreed that spellings and grammar relate tot the subject or to the precedent set by the original version of an article, as shown in the Wikipedia:Manual of Style#National varieties of English. More guidance is given at Wikipedia:Manual of Style (spelling).
