[edit] William of Orange statue
My Mam just told me about the statue of William of Orange that was blown up in the town years ago. I never heard of it until now, but according to the following article it was removed in 1945: http://www.ggy.bris.ac.uk/personal/YvonneWhelan/HistoricalGeographyArtice.pdf 86.42.119.173 (talk) 20:15, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] 1901 Census for Boyle
The 1901 Census for Boyle is all online now. I just found all members of the four sides of my mother's family in the town in 1901. She was amazed, and never knew of one of her father's brothers so is wondering what happened him so is on the phone to her eldest sister about it now. http://www.leitrim-roscommon.com/1901census/census.shtml (interestingly, the occupations of those in the British Army in the town are mentioned in this 1901 Census, but their names are omitted. Significant?) 86.42.119.173 (talk) 20:15, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Battle of Curlew Pass
The history section of this article badly needs to mention that very famous battle in 1599. 86.42.119.173 (talk) 20:15, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
