[edit] Removed review

The following review was added 23 Feb. 06.

I found the play an absolute dud in its Geffen Playhouse performance. It's a hoax, displaying no physical intimacy and very little emotional intimacy between the women. Although the acting was excellent, the script was abysmal. Part of the problem may have been the atrocious acoustics of the renovated Geffen Playhouse in Westwod CA. Only one minute of memorable dialogue occurred -- when Anna advised her maid to have her partner scrape the debris off her back after love-making in the park, and the maid replied they'd be doing it against a tree, as the view is much better that way. -- Richard Coanda, Ph.
