Hip hop is quite a new style of music for Bosnia and Herzegovina, but it has nevertheless proven very popular.[citation needed] The majority of Bosnian and Herzegovinian rappers are from the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (the Bosniaks / Bosnian Croat-dominated half of the country),[citation needed] although more and more are coming out of the Republika Srpska. The scene has coalesced around several major portals on the Internet.
The most famous rapper in Bosnia-Herzegovina is Edo Maajka,[citation needed] who extended the Bosnian rap scene throughout Europe;[citation needed] others include Frenkie and Disciplinska Komisija.
