[edit] Nickname different from username
Can i have the four tildas to point to a nickname and not the username ? And actually when i edit something, can there be recorded a nickname instead of a long and boring username ? Bogdandumitrescu 02:29, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
- You can use a Nickname substitution for your four tildes. This can be done by going to "my preferences" at the top of your page, then enter your nickname under "signature". However, your registered username will show up in the logs/histories. — ERcheck (talk) 02:35, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Adventure Running
Thank you for asking. The article "Adventure Running" was deleted on the basis of speedy deletion criteria A3 — it was simply a restatement of the title. Feel free to create a full article. If you are working on an article and want to wait to post it until it is fully developed, you might create it in your own User:Bogdandumitrescu/Sandbox.
The links provided by Zappa above will help you learn more about Wikipedia; but, also, feel free to ask others. Also, I suggest you take a look at this page on what Wikipedia is not. — ERcheck (talk) 02:33, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
- Two options -- under Special:Preferences, you can change your signature (the name which appears when you sign), or you can make a request for a new username at WP:CHU. Hope one of those helps. :) Luna Santin 02:30, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

- i have one username for all my accounts ... let's see if the Signature things works :-) BogieD 02:35, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
You can request an article on "Adventure running". Read Wikipedia:Requested articles, which will tell you how to post a request. If an editor is interested in the topic, then it might get created. — ERcheck (talk) 02:40, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Page moves
At the top of the article, there is a "move" tab. You can move the article you created to the correct name. Please make sure you fill in the box with the reason for the move. You can then go back to the original page and place {{db|creator requests deletion}} on the page — this will flag the page for speedy deletion by an admin. — ERcheck (talk) 02:46, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
- Done. However, please be aware that Wikipedia has a strict policy against including copyrighted material. Your version of the page was directly from http://www.badwater.com/reg.html , and would have been deleted as a copyright violation. — ERcheck (talk) 02:59, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:Cedarhill.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Cedarhill.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 16:05, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Bendis
If you can think of any other articles that use BMB I guess we can make a disambaguation page, but if not, we should leave it alone. What exactly do you want me to do?--CyberGhostface 16:24, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
- All my friends and all the people i know they think of Boston-Montreal-Boston ultra cycling "trip" when you talk about BMB. There are car BMB stickers ... You can see the wiki page PBP ( which refers to the French counterpart). That's why i initially included "my" BMB link on Brian Michael Bendis page. So what do you think ? --BogieD 01:47, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Boston-Montreal-Boston
Hello. This currently lacks reliable sources. I'm not sure about inclusion guidelines for sporting events, but in general good sources are the barest minimum. - brenneman {L} 16:29, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
