Bob Spoo is the current head college football coach for Eastern Illinois University. He has held that position since the 1987 season and is the 21st football coach at the school. His career coaching record at Eastern Illinois 127-102-1. This ranks him first at Eastern Illinois in total wins and seventh at Eastern Illinois in winning percentage.[1]
Spoo is an alumnus of Purdue University and a former quarterback on the Boilermaker's football team. Prior to receiving the head coach position at Eastern Illinois, Spoo served as an assistant at Purdue and Wisconsin, as well as a high school coach.
