[edit] Barnstar

Thanks a lot for the Barnstar, very much appreciated. I'd just like to take this opportunity to say what a great job you in particular have done to get WP:Derbys to the stage it is at in just a month. Great work! Schumi555 16:00, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Award

Thanks for the award. The facinating facts are easy to do ... I guess you realise that the DYKs are all new articles. They have to be >1500 words and less than 5 days old. If you fancy a go then I could help. Anyway .. thanks again .. especially as it looks as if this is the first award. Victuallers 17:09, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] DYK

Love too. Suggest. Lesson 1. I give you a half created article. You work it up in your sandbox till its OK ish. Does that sound OK with you? Or do you have an article in mind? Victuallers 13:48, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Option 1 ...more

If your happy to go with my suggestion...and its OK if you're not... then have a look at your sandbox. I have loaded there some text that is so old that it is out of copyright. I think that with a few hours work, you and I can make it look like Edward Venables-Vernon-Harcourt which is just about to go on DYK. When ready you can add the new article to DYK under joint authorship. If you make sure I "show you" rather than do it, then you should be able to do one your self after that. OK? [edit] reply

Any type of article will do... I suggested the one I gave you only cos its "easy". If you had an some 150 year old stuff on say Mrs Brunel's Inventions ... then we could use that. With regard to the stuff on the museum ... no. Rules say you have to expand the number of characters by a factor of 5 (very tricky unless you find a stub) OR be a new article of more than 1500 characters. Where new means less than 5 days old. So OUR? plan is to work up the article in your sandbox till its ptretty damn good and then publish it. Being as it has onlt to be 1500 chars then you can delete things that are too tricky etc. I'll take a look in a bit and see how you are getting on. Remember the harcourt article is "one I made earlier" Victuallers 15:23, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
