This is the first episode where Dan did not actually help someone else during his jump to the past. (If anyone, he helped himself.) Is there an appropriate place to mention this? Notbyworks (talk) 23:31, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

It is arguable that he helped Bennett by instilling that memory in him, he was able to get Bennett to surrender and perhaps please insanity and get help, instead of either going to jail, getting the death penalty, or getting killed in a shootout.

Alternatively, the fact that the article mentions Livia's warnings about Dan having a "test" (I think it's in there, if not, I'll add it) is enough to imply that the jump was part of this test, and not his normal helping jump TheHYPO (talk) 06:03, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
