Birdie was not ill during SF1, that's a Capcom USA excuse and an Alpha 3-only quote for Capcom Japan completely redesigning him in the Zero series. In other words he was once light skinned, now he's dark skinned.Vasili10 01:55, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
- Agreed. Mention of Birdie having the flu should be part of a trivia section of some sort, but it is clearly a joke excuse as to why Birdie went from Caucasian to black. I do believe it's official that he lost to Ryu, though I would have to double-check my sources. Krendall (talk) 20:56, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
