For years, it was rumored that ZZ Top used the Hirsch Memorial Colisium in Shreveport, LA to baseline their sound system before going on tour. As the story goes, Hirsch Colisium had the worst acoustics the band had ever experienced and believed if they could get the sound right in Hirsch it would be great everywhere else. Is there any truth to the legend?
