"Billy's Got a Gun" is a song by British hard rock band Def Leppard from their multi-platinum 1983 album Pyromania. It garnered airplay in the US as the B-side of "Rock of Ages", reaching #33 on the Mainstream Rock charts.
The song has been a live favourite of the band since its composition.[citation needed] A live version of "Billy's Got a Gun" was the B-side for their only US #1 single, Love Bites and was included in 2006 on the deluxe edition of Hysteria.
The song contains a distorted drum/synth outro that lasts nearly one minute. When the song was issued on the Rock of Ages best-of compilation, this outro was removed.
