[edit] Notability of Bradley Thomas Mcallister Wood

A tag has been placed on Bradley Thomas Mcallister Wood, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Deranged bulbasaur 07:36, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with Bradley Thomas Mcallister Wood. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Deranged bulbasaur 09:27, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
Please do not remove speedy deletion notices, as you did with Bradley Thomas Mcallister Wood. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. Deranged bulbasaur 10:38, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

Either provide sources that prove what you are saying in this, or stop recreating it. Bare in mind if you continue to recreate this article, or continue to remove speedy deletion tags from this article, then you could face blocks. J Milburn 10:31, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

I have replaced the {{db-bio}} tag on this article again. Do not remove it again please. It is considered vandalism. Kevin 10:40, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] winning future golf tournaments

G'day Brad,

it's nice that you have a dream. Really. However, here on Wikipedia we like to think we're constructing a serious reference work, and that means that occasionally we're required to distinguish between fact and fantasy, painful as that might seem. The long and the short of it, mate, is that you're welcome to contribute as much or as little to Wikipedia as you'd like, but ... don't make stuff up. Seriously. Don't.

You are not a famous golfer, and you have not won the 2008 US Masters. I know it's difficult, but please try to resist the temptation to lie about that again. If you continue to damage our hard work by inserting articles containing deliberate falsehoods, you will be blocked from editing our website. Cheers, fuddlemark (befuddle me!) 11:42, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
