Best ~second session~ is the second Best Of album released by Japanese Pop singer Kumi Koda. It was released on March 2006 and included the singles of the project known as the ~12 singles collection~. A limited edition of the album also comes with a bonus DVD with an unreleased concert of Kumi: her "Live Tour 2005".

Best ~second session~ debuted at #1 with 983,359 units in its first week of sales. This became Kumi's second album to reach #1. As well, the high first week sales became Kumi's personal best. In the following week, ~second session~ maintained its #1 position and became her first album to hold the "2 weeks at #1" title. ~second session~ passed became a million seller shortly after one week upon its release and it also became Kumi's second million selling album. The album became the second highest selling overall album in Japan[dubious ] and the highest selling female album in Japan of 2006.[citation needed] The album charted on the Oricon Top 300 for a total of 78 weeks and it's current total 1,804,485 making it the 93rd best selling Japanese album.[citation needed]
In 2007, Avex reported that BEST ~second session~ sold 2,009,000 copies in Japan[verification needed]
