This is the worst collection page for Bengali Poetry.
I do not find three most important types of Bengali Poems
1 Patriotic Poems of Pre '47 era 2. Political poems of Peasant movement of Bengal called Tebhaga Movement 3. Poems of Sixties and Seventies till nineties mainly related to the NAxalite days.

- I agree. I also find a total lack of Bangladeshi poets, or any poet from East Bengal, or any Muslim poets. I added reference to 4 poets, but definitely there are a lot more notable poets to be added here. --Ragib 17:06, 16 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Which part of Alaol's work makes him classified under "Islamic Literature"? His magnum opus is Padmaboti. Just as other poets are not under "Hindu literatrue", Alaol shouldn't be under "Islamic Literature". Thanks. --Ragib 19:56, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
