Ben Maxwell (born March 30, 1988 in North Vancouver, British Columbia) is an ice hockey player. Maxwell was selected 49th overall in the second round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft by the Montreal Canadiens. He is currently playing for the Kootenay Ice in the Western Hockey League (WHL).On March 1, 2008 the Montreal Canadiens announced the signing of Ben Maxwell to a three-year contract (2008–09 to 2010–11).[1]
