Belgium made its 50th appearance at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008. This year, VRT is in charge of the selection process through Eurosong. The Belgian entry was selected on Sunday, 9 March 2008.[1] Having competed in the first semi-final in Belgrade, the Belgian entry failed to qualify for the final.
