There appears to be quite a bit of opinion creep towards the end of the article. I especially noted:

As if that wasn't enough for Beitar management, fans were enraged in 2004 when Hapoel "Cellcom" Bnei Sakhnin, located in an Arab village in northern Israel and drawing on a mainly Arab talent pool, stunned the nation with a 4:1 victory in the State Cup final over Hapoel "Opel" Haifa. Beitar's incendiary and management-independent fan clubs, notoriously anti-Arab and anti-Muslim, went into action, posting an obituary in the Yediot Akhronot daily in the name of "Israeli football", and engaging in racist chants against Arab players whenever possible, and always against Sakhnin.

It would be helpful to see some sources, especially with the references to Beitar's fan clubs seeming so negative. The only current reference in the article is a fan site (probably not NPOV) and in Hebrew (I believe). .:.Jareth.:. ^babelfish July 6, 2005 19:57 (UTC)

I completly agree with you. It seems like somone is purposely using this article to make it seem Israelis are complely racist. This has nothing to do with Israelies being racists (we're not :P) as Beitar's crowd does not represent the israeli nation. They are our shame (although the club is quite good at football). Beitar have the most racist crowd of the major teams, representing the political extreme right side. Rosti Talis 20:50, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

I'm sorry, but to say that "Beitar's crowd...are our shame" is ridiculous. There's no doubt that most Beitar fans hate Arabs, but other teams' fans do not behave in a better way. Hapoel Tel-Aviv fans were kicked out of the Siroki Brijeg stadium at the UEFA cup 2nd qualifying round (Aug. 16th 2007) - because they lighted torches and burned many chairs, and they have opinions and songs which many Israelis otherwise politically inclined would find disgraceful and shameful. not to mention other shameful acts regardless of politicsl POV (e.g. graffiti on the Mayor of Tel-Aviv's parents' graves after the Osishkin Basketball arena was dismantled).

This does not seem neutral: The Beitar Jerusalem Football Club (מועדון כדורגל בית"ר ירושלים; Moadon Kaduregel Beitar Yerushalayyim, also known as Beitar Yerushalayyim) is one of the most controversial and racist sports teams in the Middle East. Beitar Jerusalem is the Israeli football team with the largest following. They play in Teddy Kollek Stadium (capacity c. 23,000) in the Malkha complex in Jerusalem, nicknamed Gehennom ("Hell") for the hostile atmosphere they present to visiting teams and their fans.

It's true though, it is nicknamed "Hell" here in Israel and they are the most racist crowd of the major teams, representing the political extreme right side. This can be justified by the fact the fans refuse the signing of an arab player (I believe that recently there was a report on this matter on Sky News). Rosti Talis 20:50, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

It's since been modified to tone it down but it's part of their history so deserves a mention. Here is one of the latest incidents [1] that should also be included somewhere as it may lead to disciplinary proceedings. It is important to not let WP sport pages become fan sites. To prove we are not racist, we should sign terrorists??? There are racists in all teams. Why you are not enquiring about Bnei Sakhnin fans?? Everyone knows that they are hundred times racist than Beitar fans. "they are the most racist crowd of the major teams".... I think you are frustated because of the defeats inflicted on your team by Beitar. Don't tell which players Beitar should sign... If we are not signing any Arab players it is because they cant play as good as others... not because of racism. Axxn (talk) 12:40, 1 January 2008 (UTC)

There is no official word on Tvrtko Kale's citizenship, Mirosevic's signing with Racing and Muskalo's signing. There is no proof that these things have occurred. until then Please refrain editing this page.

I have some images of the team training with Ardiles in the Daniel Hotel, Herzliya. [4] I don't know who they are, if numbers have change and stuff. But for those that know can cut out the players to put on profiles if they so wish. Just let me know. Thanks. Govvy (talk) 16:42, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
