Beacon Street Girls

The Beacon Street Girls is a series of young adult books written by Annie Bryant. Based in Brookline, Massachusetts, the stories focus around five girls who all live around in Brookline and are in the same middle school class. The girls come from varied backgrounds and all have distinct personalities. So Far Annie Bryant has written 11 books for the series and 5 special adventure books.
The series, which is published by B*tween Publications, Inc., is designed for girls aged 9-13, and typically produced following consultations with various specialists in issues for girls,[1] and was produced as an alternative to the perceived preponderance of provocative and objectionable messages aimed at youth in culture in mind.[2]

Maeve Kaplan-Taylor is a triple threat(sings, acts, dances)and someday wants to be a famous actress.Her family consits of a younger brother Sam, and 2 divorsed parents. She has dyslexia which allows her to use a laptop in school. She has red striking hair. She is the most boy-crazy.
Katani Summers is the most fashionable in the BSG. When she is older she would like to start her own fashion empire. She is highly intellegent and is the most organized out of all the Beacon Street girls. She has an autistic sister named Kelley.
Isabel Martinez is a talented artist. She moved to Massachuetts from Detroit, Michigan. she waz the last to join the BSG. She came here for her mother who has MS. She had to leave her dad back home because of his job being an accountant.
Charolette Ramsey is a smart and talented writer. She is the daughter of Richard Ramsey, a well-known writer in the books. She writes for the school newspaper as a feautred writer. She is the one who hosts the BSG sleepovers in the tower of her house.
Avery Madden is an adopted Korean girl. She loves sports and rocks at them! though she is short she is one of the best at basketball. She also loves pets, though she can't keep many ones with fur do to her mom's allergies. she also is very outspoken and would love to be president one day.
Marty is a mutt who the girls found one day he lives with Charlotte though she belongs to all the girls. He fancys a dog owmed by a lady named razzberry pink.
