Bayside Marketplace is an indoor/outdoor marketplace located in downtown Miami, just south of the AmericanAirlines Arena on Biscayne Bay. The mall opened in 1987, during the 1980s downtown building boom that spawned the Wachovia Financial Center in 1984 and the Bank of America Tower in 1987. It was commonly featured on Miami Vice, and the mall averages 15 million people annually. College/Bayside Metromover station services the mall.
