Someone had the first sentence reading: The Battle of Xuzhou was fought between Japanese and Chinese forces in May of 1938 during World War 2. I laughed, and fixed it to this: The Battle of Xuzhou was fought between Japanese and Chinese forces in May of 1938 during Second Sino-Japanese War.
