[edit] 'The Battle of the Curlews'

Just for the record, my Mam says that when she was in school in Boyle they were told it was the 'Battle of the Curlews' in English. I notice the 'Gaelic Chieftan' plaque on the article has exactly the same title as is in the local folklore. 86.42.119.173 (talk) 20:35, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
