I'm sure that you are correct, as far as it being an Army custom, but from the writing it really is impossible to tell (which is why I have added the 'confusing' tag). I did make a few changes as far as the 'wikify' tag is concerned; this was removed after adding a few more internal links and reformatting the sections for clarity. Hopefully someone with knowledge in this subject can throw in some citations, context for all readers, and clean it up a bit. *Vendetta* (whois talk edits) 07:20, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
