[edit] Education in Georgetown

I teach in G-Town for Scott County Schools. Some of the schools you have listed are not even in the G-town city limits and only service the county of Scott outside of G-town city limits. I think it would be more appropiate to place those schools on the county page.

What do you think about this solution then? Georgetown and Scott County are serviced by Scott County Schools. How bout we put Scott County Schools under Education and link it to the school system website at www.scott.kyschools.us? Also good call on Comair. If you are not from this area people have a hard time understanding the combined governments of Lexington-Fayette and Louisville-Jefferson.

[edit] Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Elonka 2

Thank you for taking the time to participate at the discussion in my Request for Adminship. Unfortunately the nomination did not succeed, but please rest assured that I am still in full support of the Wikipedia project. I listened carefully to all concerns, and will do my best to incorporate all of the constructive advice that I received, into my future actions on Wikipedia. If you can think of any other ways that I can further improve, please let me know. Best wishes, Elonka 04:08, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Phoenix Hotel

Haven't had a chance to read the article yet; I've been too busy fighting vandalism on the William Goebel article I helped take to FA. It's on the front page today. Anyway, I wanted to mention that you should definitely nominate your article for WP:DYK if you haven't already. I missed some chances to get new articles on DYK before I found out about it. It's only for articles created or significantly expanded in the last five days, so you've got until August 30 to get it nominated. Just FYI; thanks for creating this article. [edit] Corner symbol

Actually, that was pretty awesome. How do I find more of those? --Hemlock Martinis 19:09, 26 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks

Thanks for cleaning the Mint (newspaper) article. Much appreciated Anshuk 07:40, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] DYK

Updated DYK query On 28 August 2007, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Phoenix Hotel, which you created or substantially expanded. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

[edit] Neutrality Project

Hi, I'm trying to ensure that the Neutrality Project has not become inactive. If you would still like to participate in it, please re-add your name to the Review Team list. Jame§ugrono 08:07, 15 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Use of POV tags

Just dropping you a note to inform you that I've removed the {{POV}} tag that you added to chronic fatigue syndrome. I'll explain why in some detail, because edit summaries are not always sufficient.

  • Ideally, if you see what you perceive as biased language, try to fix it yourself ({{sofixit}}).
  • Leaving instructions for other editors in an edit summary is insufficient; if you think an article is biased, have on look on the talkpage to see if there are ongoing discussions pertaining to neutrality, or leave your own message outlining your concerns. Perhaps other editors will agree and make the required changes without the need for an ugly tag on the article page.
  • You hint in your edit summary that other perspectives on CFS/ME exist but they are not included in the article. Unless you can identify these perspectives, don't leave it for other contributors to guess where we might find these perspectives.

If you intend to use the {{POV}} tag, please have a look at the rulings in this ArbComm case, which gives important guidance on the use of similar tags on articles. JFW | T@lk 10:04, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for your post on Talk:Chronic fatigue syndrome. I'm sure your concerns will be taken seriously. Again, if particular statements in the article strike you as biased, do not hesitate to rephrase them in something more suitable. JFW | T@lk 19:31, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Chris Sligh controversy

I just reverted the material you added to Chris Sligh about an American Idol controversy. The controversy you are wrote about happened to Chris Richardson. Chris Sligh had been eliminated from American Idol before the Virginia Tech massacre happened. Aspects (talk) 05:35, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
