Banyo is a town in Adamawa Province, Cameroon. It is located at around ,and is predominately Muslim. Though a government Prefect serves in the town, the Lamido still holds great sway among the populace. John Dallmann used this town as a hub for his missionary work, which consisted of drilling wells for the local population while sharing the Christian message with them.
